The mycologist ‘Jik Fibs’ encountered five Albino Golden teacher in his patch of regular Golden Teachers and isolated this mutation. It took a year before he finally had three consecutive flushes of full albino canopies. Because of the wonderfull genetics of the TAT it has been used to create a lot of new strains and at the moment he fathered more then 30 exotic strains, one of which is Jack Frost.

This mushroom is not leucistic, which means that it partially lacks pigmentation, but is truly albino. Hence the name True Albino Teacher.
